- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 sleeve (about 35) buttery round crackers, crushed
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- 2. Cut chicken breasts into uniform bite-sized pieces.
- 3. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and ranch packet until smooth.
- 4. Add garlic powder and black pepper to cream mixture.
- 5. Fold in chicken pieces, coating well with creamy mixture.
- 6. Transfer to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- 7. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over chicken layer.
- 8. Combine crushed crackers with melted butter until moistened.
- 9. Distribute cracker mixture evenly over cheese layer.
- 10. Bake 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and topping is golden.
- 11. Rest 5 minutes before serving and garnish with chives if desired.
Notes
