Delicious baked beef meatballs glazed with a sweet soy and brown sugar sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup fine breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, ginger, and green onions in a mixing bowl; form into meatballs.
- Arrange the meatballs and broccoli florets on a baking sheet with space between them.
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth; pour sauce over meatballs and broccoli.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and glaze is bubble-dark at the edges.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, spooning extra pan glaze on top.
Notes
Store meatballs in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge. Can freeze for up to 3 months.
