Description

A quick and satisfying stir-fry bowl combining spiced ground beef with vibrant garlic-infused veggies, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 0.25 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium Zucchini, sliced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 cups Steamed White Rice

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and chili flakes, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and brown sugar, mixing well to combine.
  5. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms to the skillet, tossing to coat.
  6. Continue to cook until the vegetables are tender but still crisp, about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the stir-fry over the steamed white rice and enjoy.

Notes

High heat is essential for a proper sear on the beef. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.
