- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 small can green chiles
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 4 flour tortillas
- Homemade seasoning blend (e.g., chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper)
- Avocado (for dipping sauce)
- Sour cream (optional, for dipping sauce)
- Lime (optional, for dipping sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
- Stir in the black beans and green chiles, and cook until heated through.
- Place a tortilla in the baking dish, fill it with the turkey mixture, and top with shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
- Roll the tortilla tightly and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- For the dipping sauce, mash ripe avocados and mix in sour cream and lime juice to taste.
