- 4 chicken thighs — bone-in, skin-on preferred
- 2 cups green beans — trimmed
- 3 tablespoons butter — unsalted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced — fresh only
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Place chicken thighs in the skillet and sear for 3–4 minutes on each side.
- Add green beans to the skillet, and pour lemon juice over the chicken and beans.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 20–25 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Pat the chicken skin dry for better browning. Brown the green beans for even cooking.
