- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce; let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and mix until well combined.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir until the pasta is coated.
- Mix in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
