Description
A simple and flavorful recipe for Easy Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Rollups, perfect for a quick weeknight meal or appetizer. Uses lean ground beef, garlic, butter, and cheese for a delicious twist on cheeseburgers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheddar-blend)
- Optional: 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Optional: Pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat
- Optional: 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce for umami boost
- Optional: Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned. If using onion, add it during the last few minutes of browning. Drain off excess grease.
- 2. Stir in minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. If using onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, or red pepper flakes, incorporate them now. Cook for 1 minute until garlic is fragrant.
- 3. Remove skillet from heat. Pour seasoned melted butter over the beef mixture. Stir until well coated.
- 4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture. Place skillet under broiler for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly, or cover with a lid until cheese melts.
- 5. Spoon generous portions of the cheeseburger mixture onto a clean work surface or plates, forming them into compact, log-like shapes.
- 6. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.
