- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup dry white wine
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- 1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Let sit 10-15 minutes.
- 2. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3. Sear chicken 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- 4. Transfer chicken to plate and tent with foil to rest.
- 5. Add minced garlic to same pan and cook 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
- 6. Add wine and scrape up browned bits, cooking until reduced by half.
- 7. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to gentle simmer.
- 8. Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, stirring until smooth.
- 9. Return chicken to pan, spooning sauce over top. Warm 2-3 minutes.
- 10. Remove from heat, stir in butter, and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store covered in refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat gently to prevent cream from separating. Can substitute additional chicken broth for white wine.
