Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Let sit 10-15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Sear chicken 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  4. 4. Transfer chicken to plate and tent with foil to rest.
  5. 5. Add minced garlic to same pan and cook 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
  6. 6. Add wine and scrape up browned bits, cooking until reduced by half.
  7. 7. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to gentle simmer.
  8. 8. Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, stirring until smooth.
  9. 9. Return chicken to pan, spooning sauce over top. Warm 2-3 minutes.
  10. 10. Remove from heat, stir in butter, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store covered in refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat gently to prevent cream from separating. Can substitute additional chicken broth for white wine.
