Description

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5–2 lbs)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- 1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- 2. Sear chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat, 5-6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- 3. Add butter to pan, cook onion for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- 4. Add garlic, thyme, and oregano, cook 30 seconds.
- 5. Add wine, simmer 2 minutes to reduce.
- 6. Add chicken broth, simmer 3-4 minutes.
- 7. Reduce heat to low, whisk in cream cheese until smooth.
- 8. Stir in Parmesan cheese, season to taste.
- 9. Return chicken to pan, simmer 2-3 minutes.
- 10. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for smoothest sauce. Store leftovers up to 4 days refrigerated.
