Description

A simple and flavorful Baked Caesar Chicken recipe with a crispy panko parmesan topping. Easy enough for weeknights!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Caesar salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. 2. Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish or bag. Pour 3/4 cup Caesar dressing over chicken and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, combine panko, Parmesan, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Place in baking dish.
  5. 5. Sprinkle panko mixture evenly over chicken and press gently.
  6. 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and topping is golden.
  7. 7. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store cooled cooked chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat gently in oven, microwave on low power, or skillet.
