Description

Tender, flaky salmon fillets cooked to perfection in the air fryer with a flavorful herb and spice seasoning blend.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. Remove salmon from refrigerator 15-20 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature.
  2. 2. Pat salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels.
  3. 3. Mix garlic powder, paprika, dill, salt, pepper, onion powder, and cayenne in a small bowl.
  4. 4. Brush salmon fillets with olive oil on both sides.
  5. 5. Sprinkle spice mixture evenly over both sides of fillets, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. 6. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  7. 7. Lightly oil the air fryer basket and place salmon fillets inside with space between each piece.
  8. 8. Cook for 7-10 minutes depending on thickness, checking for doneness at 7 minutes.
  9. 9. Check that salmon flakes easily and reaches internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  10. 10. Remove from air fryer, drizzle with lemon juice, and let rest 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes.
