Description
Tender, flaky salmon fillets cooked to perfection in the air fryer with a flavorful herb and spice seasoning blend.

- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- 1. Remove salmon from refrigerator 15-20 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature.
- 2. Pat salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels.
- 3. Mix garlic powder, paprika, dill, salt, pepper, onion powder, and cayenne in a small bowl.
- 4. Brush salmon fillets with olive oil on both sides.
- 5. Sprinkle spice mixture evenly over both sides of fillets, pressing gently to adhere.
- 6. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- 7. Lightly oil the air fryer basket and place salmon fillets inside with space between each piece.
- 8. Cook for 7-10 minutes depending on thickness, checking for doneness at 7 minutes.
- 9. Check that salmon flakes easily and reaches internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- 10. Remove from air fryer, drizzle with lemon juice, and let rest 2-3 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes.
