Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Rice or noodles for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until they become fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Introduce the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, and breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir in the halved Brussels sprouts, cooking until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the sweet chili sauce and soy sauce, mixing well to coat everything evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before removing from heat.
- Serve warm over rice or noodles if desired for an extra touch.
Notes
Ensure to brown the ground beef properly for added depth of flavor. Don’t crowd the skillet with Brussels sprouts for optimal caramelization.
