Description

A creamy tomato sauce with browned ground beef folded into perfectly cooked pasta, ideal for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning; bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix in the cooked pasta and cheese, stirring until the cheese melts.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot with optional toppings as desired.

Notes

For a lighter meal, halve the portion and serve with steamed broccoli or roasted cauliflower. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
