Whip up these incredibly easy Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps for a quick, healthy, and delicious low-carb meal. Tender chicken, garlic, and melted cheese make these wraps a family favorite.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend work well)
- 4 large low-carb tortillas or lettuce wraps
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Optional: A pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat
Instructions
- 1. In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- 2. Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper before adding it to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. If adding red pepper flakes, add them now.
- 4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let the cream simmer gently for 1-2 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- 5. Stir in the shredded cheese until it’s melted and the sauce is creamy and well combined with the chicken.
- 6. Warm the low-carb tortillas according to package directions or prepare your lettuce wraps.
- 7. Spoon the cheesy garlic chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla or lettuce wrap.
- 8. Fold or roll the wraps tightly.
- 9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Store leftover chicken filling in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It’s best to store filling separately from tortillas/wraps. Reheat filling gently in a skillet or microwave before assembling with fresh tortillas or lettuce.
