Crispy air fryer buffalo cauliflower with tangy sauce and tender interior. A healthier alternative to buffalo wings that’s ready in 20 minutes.

- 1 large head cauliflower (about 2 pounds), cut into 1-inch florets
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened plant milk (or regular milk)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (plus extra for serving)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or vegan butter
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving
- Celery sticks for serving
Instructions
- 1. Cut cauliflower into uniform 1-inch florets. Rinse and pat completely dry with paper towels.
- 2. Whisk together flour, plant milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- 3. Add cauliflower florets to batter and toss until thoroughly coated. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- 4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes. Mix buffalo sauce, melted butter, and honey in a small bowl.
- 5. Place battered cauliflower in single layer in air fryer basket. Cook for 12 minutes, shaking basket halfway through.
- 6. Remove cauliflower and toss with half the buffalo sauce mixture while hot. Return to air fryer for 3-4 minutes.
- 7. Transfer to serving platter and drizzle with remaining buffalo sauce. Serve immediately with dressing and celery.
Notes
Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness.
