Description

Delicious and nutritious veggie pizza rolls, perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1316 ounces pizza dough, at room temperature
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup baby spinach, roughly cut or chopped (or minced broccoli, optional)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a muffin tin well.
  2. Stretch the dough into an 11×16-inch rectangle on parchment paper.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over the dough and sprinkle with spinach, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  4. Roll the dough up tightly from one long side to enclose the toppings.
  5. Cut into 12 even slices and place each in the muffin cup.
  6. Bake for 22-26 minutes until the dough is baked through and tops are golden.
  7. Let cool for 3-5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack or plate.
