Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until fluffy and well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes.
- Scoop the dough and roll it into balls, then roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
- Allow cooling on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
