Description

Delicious and fluffy quark coins combined with wholesome oats, perfect for a warm breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g quark
  • 100g rolled oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl, blend the quark and rolled oats together until creamy.
  2. Add the eggs, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, whisking until combined.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  4. Scoop small portions of the mixture into the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm, optionally topped with fresh fruits, honey, or Greek yogurt.

Notes

For extra flavor, let oats soak in quark for about 30 minutes. Substitute half of the sugar with maple syrup for a richer taste.
