Description

A comforting and hearty casserole featuring lean ground beef, cheesy goodness, and crispy tater tots.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 15 oz can green beans, drained
  • 10.75 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  3. Add the onions and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Top with cream of mushroom soup, green beans, and cheddar cheese.
  8. Finally, top with tater tots.
  9. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider mixing in other vegetables like corn or bell peppers. Broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a crispy topping.
