Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes under cold running water.
  3. Cut the potatoes into even-sized cubes or wedges.
  4. Place cut potatoes into a large bowl.
  5. Pour olive oil over the potatoes, ensuring they are coated evenly.
  6. Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried rosemary, and paprika.
  7. Toss the potatoes to distribute the seasoning and oil.
  8. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  9. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  10. Roast in the oven for about 40 to 45 minutes.
  11. Flip the potatoes halfway through the cooking time (after 20 minutes).
  12. Continue roasting until golden brown and crispy.
  13. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra tender interiors, parboil or steam potatoes briefly before roasting. Reheat in a hot oven for crispness.
