- 1 cup mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch.
- In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
- Place chicken in the baking dish and sprinkle with optional paprika or Italian seasoning.
- Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken in the mayonnaise mixture for a few hours before baking. Experiment with different herbs for the topping.
