Description

Creamy and comforting white beans that are surprisingly quick to make, perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans white beans (cannellini or navy)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine the white beans, heavy cream, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir gently.
  2. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is simmering, avoiding a hard boil.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting gradually.
  4. Cook for about 5-10 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside toasted bread.

Notes

For chunkier texture, drain one can of beans partially. Push a few beans against the pot for thickening while leaving many whole for texture.
