Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, swirl to coat the pan.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent and fragrant, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Add 1 lb ground beef, break it up with a spatula, and cook until browned and no longer pink, about 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage and 2 tablespoons soy sauce, toss to combine and cook until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions if desired.
