- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp blackening seasoning (optional)
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 Tbsp water
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat the salmon dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and blackening seasoning (if using).
- Adjust the oven rack to the middle position and preheat your broiler.
- In a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and olive oil together.
- Add minced garlic, water, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, and lemon juice; cook for 30 seconds until heated.
- Add the salmon filets skin-side down and cook for 3 minutes while basting with the sauce.
- Broil for 5-6 minutes, basting once, until the salmon is caramelized and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Garnish with minced parsley if desired for a pop of color and freshness.
