Description
Delicious homemade churro bites, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served with Nutella for dipping.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Nutella for dipping
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil, then simmer. Stir until butter melts completely.
- Mix in flour until it forms a ball. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
- Pipe small bites of dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown (3-4 minutes).
- Roll warm churro bites in a sugar and cinnamon mixture.
- Serve with Nutella for dipping.
Notes
For extra crispy churros, let the dough rest for about 10 minutes after mixing in the eggs.
