Description

A delicious and protein-packed shawarma chicken pita filled with flavorful marinated chicken, creamy tzatziki, fresh tomatoes, and crunchy cucumbers, perfect for a quick meal or family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Shawarma Marinated Chicken
  • 1 cup Tzatziki Sauce
  • 4 large pitas (whole wheat optional)
  • 2 medium-large tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium-large English cucumber, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the shawarma marinated chicken according to the package instructions, usually sautéing in a hot skillet for about 5–7 minutes until fully cooked. Squeeze lemon juice at the end for added flavor.
  2. While the chicken cooks, dice the tomatoes and slice the cucumber for that fresh crunch.
  3. Take a warm pita and fill it with the cooked chicken, tzatziki sauce, diced tomatoes, and cucumber. Pack it generously.
  4. Serve warm, with extra tzatziki on the side if desired.

Notes

To keep your shawarma chicken pitas fresh, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the cooked chicken (without the veggies or sauce) for up to 3 months.
