- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thick slices
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander seed
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 avocado, diced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 onion, finely diced
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 oz low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup cilantro leaves
- 1 garlic clove, roughly diced
- 12 small low-carb or regular tortillas
- Hot sauce or salsa for serving
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into 1-2 cm thick slices. Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, and olive oil. Toss to coat.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Add half of the chicken, ensuring not to overlap. Air fry for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Rest and slice after cooking.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the remaining chicken on a greased tray for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway. Rest and slice after cooking.
- Blend yogurt, cilantro, garlic, and salt until smooth for the cilantro sauce. Chill for a thicker consistency.
- Mix diced avocado, tomatoes, onion, lime juice, and salt to make the salsa. Set aside.
- Assemble tacos by placing 1-1.5 oz of chicken in each tortilla, adding salsa, drizzling with cilantro sauce, and finishing with hot sauce if desired.
