Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 cans of refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
- 8 slices of American cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper; drain excess grease.
- Flatten the canned biscuits using a rolling pin or your hands.
- Place one heaping tablespoon of ground beef in the center of each biscuit.
- Fold the cheese slices in half and place them on top of the beef.
- Top with another biscuit, sealing the edges with a fork and pricking the tops.
- Place the turnovers on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Brush the tops with milk.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven for optimal texture.
