Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  3. Crumble the ground turkey into the skillet, season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Add the diced potatoes, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Fold in the frozen peas and warm through for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
