Comforting pizza rolls filled with tomato sauce, vegan cheese, and garlic spinach, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 recipe pizza dough or 2 x 400 g ready-made pizza dough or puff pastry sheets
- 150 g tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian herbs or to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100 g vegan cheese, shredded
- 1–2 tsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 150 g vegan cream cheese, at room temperature
- 100 g fresh baby spinach or frozen, thawed and squeezed out
- 100 g additional vegan cheese, shredded
- 2–3 tbsp soy cream or soy milk (for brushing)
- Pinch of turmeric (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the pizza dough according to your recipe or package instructions and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
- For the Tomato Pizza Rolls, spread tomato sauce on one piece of dough, season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper; scatter shredded vegan cheese and roll from the long edge.
- For the Spinach Pizza Rolls, sauté onions and garlic in olive oil for 2-3 minutes; spread vegan cream cheese on another piece of dough, add the sautéed mixture, spinach, and additional vegan cheese, then roll and slice into 10-12 pieces.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the rolls on it, and brush with the soy cream/milk mixture; bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Perfect for gatherings or as a family treat. Can store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
