Description

Delicious and nutritious salmon patties packed with protein and omega-3 fatty acids, perfect for quick meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of salmon, drained
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped bell pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, beaten eggs, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands for better texture.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with sauce or over a fresh salad.

Notes

For an extra crispy finish, consider adding a tablespoon of flour to your mixture. Store cooked patties in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
