Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, garnishing with sliced green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, sear the chicken thighs before placing them in the crockpot. Use a generous amount of sauce to prevent dryness.
