Description

A comforting slow cooker dish featuring tender chicken and creamy gravy served over mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1.74 oz dry gravy mix (2 packets)
  • 1 pound potatoes (halved, peeled if preferred)
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add chicken breasts to slow cooker.
  2. Add halved potatoes to slow cooker around the chicken.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix cream of chicken soup and gravy packets until smooth.
  4. Add chicken broth or water if desired.
  5. Pour gravy mixture over chicken and potatoes.
  6. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  7. Remove potatoes, mash with butter.
  8. Shred chicken with two forks.
  9. Serve chicken over mashed potatoes and ladle gravy on top.

Notes

To enhance flavor, garnish with parsley. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
