Description

A creamy, tender slow cooker dish featuring chicken in a zesty sauce served over angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In the slow cooker, combine the cream of chicken soup, Italian seasoning, and chicken broth. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Nestle the chicken breasts into the mixture, ensuring they’re well coated.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, checking occasionally for tenderness.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  5. Stir the sour cream into the slow cooker, shred the chicken, and mix it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve over the pasta and sprinkle parsley on top.

Notes

Pair with a light green salad and crusty bread. For leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Add a splash of broth when reheating to maintain creamy texture.
