Description
Deliciously crispy salmon fillets coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Measure out all ingredients and mince the garlic.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and place salmon skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
- Gently flip salmon and pour the honey garlic glaze over. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon.
- Remove salmon and allow to rest for a minute, then sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a fresher flavor, use fresh garlic. Marinate salmon in glaze for 30 minutes for deeper flavor. Avoid overcooking and aim for an internal temperature of 145°F.
