Description

A comforting creamy garlic pasta dish that’s made in just one pot, perfect for busy nights and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces of short pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter
  • 1 cup of whole milk (or a plant-based alternative)
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the pasta and enough water (or broth) to cover it. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
  4. Cook until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in the milk and Parmesan cheese until creamy. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For added depth, try toasting the garlic before adding the pasta. Garnish with fresh herbs for extra flavor.
