Description

Delightful cookies filled with Oreo crumbles and white chocolate chips for a comforting treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips.
  7. Using a small cookie scoop, drop rounded portions of dough onto the baking sheets and press down slightly.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until slightly underbaked in the center.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra chewy cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Don’t overbake for the best gooey texture.
