Description

A warm and creamy ground beef stroganoff that is easy to make and perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and blend in. Gradually add beef broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Reduce heat and mix in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss the cooked egg noodles with the beef mixture.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added depth of flavor, consider adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce or crushed red pepper flakes.
