Description

A comforting casserole that combines crispy tater tots, rich chili, and gooey melted cheese for the ultimate crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 cans chili (with or without beans)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the frozen tater tots evenly across the bottom of a large baking dish.
  3. Pour the chili over the tater tots, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then serve with sour cream and green onions.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pre-bake the tater tots for about 10 minutes before adding chili and cheese. Experiment with different chili types to suit your taste.
