Description

Delightful chewy cookies infused with maple and cinnamon, drizzled with white chocolate for a sweet finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate melting wafers
  • Holly berry sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and stir until well mixed.
  4. Introduce the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Portion out the chilled dough into 1.5-ounce balls and place them a few inches apart on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Let cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  11. Melt the white chocolate and dip half of each cookie into it, allowing excess to drip off before placing on wax or parchment paper.
  12. Drizzle remaining melted chocolate over cookies and decorate with holly berry sprinkles. Let chocolate harden before serving.
