- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk (whole or low-fat)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced hash browns (frozen or freshly shredded)
- ½ cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced hash browns until combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden; a toothpick should come out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before garnishing with chopped green onions. Serve warm.
