Description

A delightful snack featuring cheesy crispiness and sweet onions, perfect for game day or movie nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large sweet onions
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning
  • Ranch or marinara for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper, greasing it for easy removal.
  2. Slice onions into very thin rounds, about 16 rounds total.
  3. Arrange 8 piles of cheddar cheese on each cookie sheet, spaced evenly.
  4. Press an onion round on top of each cheese pile, then sprinkle with ranch seasoning.
  5. Bake for 11-13 minutes, watching closely for a golden brown color.
  6. Allow crisps to cool for 5-7 minutes before removing from the sheet.
  7. Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

Keep leftovers fresh in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, or freeze with parchment to prevent sticking.
