Description

Fluffy apple cinnamon pancakes that bring warm autumn flavors to your breakfast table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup grated or finely chopped apples
  • Optional: maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until frothy.
  3. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Gently fold in the grated apples.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup or a dusting of powdered sugar.

Notes

Store leftover pancakes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
