Description

A creamy, satisfying plant-based dessert that combines the rich flavors of chocolate and almond with the nutritional benefits of chia seeds.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoons creamy almond butter
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1/3 cup toasted coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except for the toasted coconut flakes into a blender.
  2. Blend until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
  3. Divide the mixture into four jars or glasses, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
  4. Before serving, top each portion with a handful of toasted coconut flakes. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra creaminess, blend almond butter with almond milk before adding the chia seeds. Enhance chocolate flavor with a splash of vanilla extract.
